Let No Man Pull You Low Enough To Hate Him

Brothers & Sisters:

Terrorism is designed to cause fear and anger; to divide a nation against itself. By it’s nature it pitches our natural warriors against those amongst us who call for calm and wisdom to prevail. Terrorism conquers by instigating war and anarchy. What terrorism cannot conquer is love, kindness and tolerance because, like oil and water, evil and good do not mix. Whether you have a relationship with Jesus or not, the bible still provides us with the wisdom to conquer terrorism together and to prevent it from eating our nation from within like the cancer that has already taken the lives of so many that were dear to us. Foolish men immediately raise their swords in anger. Wise men seek first wisdom and there are no works written that provide more wisdom than the bible that our forefathers once held in such high regard.

We’re all disgusted by the atrocious acts committed against us in Manchester. But let’s not allow the terrorists to take us by the hand and lead us straight to the den of destruction that they’ve carefully prepared for us.

What the Christian bible teaches in the face of adversity:

Proverbs 3:3
Do not let kindness and truth leave you; Bind them around your neck, Write them on the tablet of your heart.

Galatians 5:22-23
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law.

Ephesians 4:32
Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just as God in Christ also has forgiven you.

Luke 6:35
But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, expecting nothing in return; and your reward will be great, and you will be sons of the Most High; for He Himself is kind to ungrateful and evil men.

Martin Luther King once said:
“Let no man pull you low enough to hate him.”
